The leadership group in Michael Boyle & Associates Pty. Ltd. are highly qualified seasoned professionals in the telecommunications industry. Their knowledge is sought after by both the industry and the industry’s users. Successful executive managers in their own right, they bring an abundance of experience to the tool kit of our client.

Michael A. Boyle. B.E. B.Com(Ec.) Managing Director
Michael A. Boyle is the Managing Director of the company and responsible for setting the company directions, strategies and the overall interrelationships with clients partners and people. Michael is the founder and principal of the consulting practice headquartered in North Sydney.
His 30 years in the telecommunications industry has incorporated executive portfolios in engineering commercial development and strategic innovation. Over the last twelve years he has provided expertise to telecommunications carriers, service providers, industry associations. Michael has hands on experience in telecommunications networks, service provisioning and the development of competitive billing capability. He has been responsible for the introduction of new network technologies and the design and implementation of operational support systems.
Michael has management experience in the establishment of new business units, strategic change, business implementation of large IT systems, customer service improvement, and expenditure optimisation projects. He has undertaken the rollout of corporate change on a national scale. Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from the University of NSW and has presented papers on telecommunications switching, Competition and Billing in Australia and North America. He has served as the convenor of the Australian Telecommunications Users Group forum in NSW.

Lindsay Jolliffe B.E. M.I.E.E.E. Senior Associate- Principal Consultant
Lindsay Jolliffe is the principal team leader and is responsible for establishing project components compiling resources and delivery on client expectations’ Lindsay Jolliffe is a Telecommunications Consultant with over thirty years experience in the Telecommunications industry. He is widely experienced in the operational needs of networks, plant and equipment and provides expert consultancy services in this arena. As a Telecommunications consultant,
Lindsay has enabled corporate clients to analyse current technology use and select suitable suppliers for current and future provisioning. Lindsay has also provided expert advice to Optus, UeComm, Nortel and AAPT. He has also been actively involved in the Industry self regulatory bodies, the Telecommunications Access Forum and the Australian Communications Industry Forum. Prior to becoming a consultant ten years ago, Lindsay performed senior management roles in Telecom Australia including National General Manager Operations for Corporate Customers. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from Sydney University, has completed the Senior Executive Program with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.

Bill Craig B.E.(Hons.) Senior Associate
Bill Craig is the company’s lead on telecommunications networks. Bill is a proven telecommunications professional with over 35 years experience performing and managing the planning, development, installation and operation of telecommunications services and networks, both national and international, fixed and mobile. His particular strength lies in the breadth and depth of knowledge of telecommunications services, organisations, processes and technologies and their exploitation to achieve successful business outcomes. Mr. Craig has had a significant role in the development of telecommunications with Chief Engineering roles in Optus, Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT), Hong Kong Telephone Co. Ltd, Worldcom and Telstra. In these roles he was responsible for Formulation and management of engineering and capital expenditure plans for development of networks to meet business objectives, selection of new systems and technologies to support network growth and new telecommunications services development.
As a consultant he has provided technical expertise in developing networks to operators in Spain, Portugal, and the UK. Mr. Craig has been responsible for the planning and design of a nation-wide private network to support the telecommunications needs of an Indonesian bank. He was also Chief Engineer for the Department of Education and Training in New South Wales for Planning, design, construction and operation of their private wide area network (WAN) and LAN and voice facilities in the Department’s administrative centres. Bill Craig has an honours degree in Engineering from the University of Queensland and Management Certificate from the Australian Institute of Management.
